NEW YORK SECTION AWARDS
Since 1991 the New York Section has been awarded the "Best Annual Report of an Extra Large Section" nine times. This 50% rate of winning the top ACS award attests to the vitality, creativity, organization and dedication of the NY ACS members. I am proud to have them as my colleagues. In addition to the major awards, the NY Section has been a consistent award winner for many of the individual ChemLuminary Awards.
I fully support awards programs since the only pay our volunteers get is a sincere "THANK YOU". The ChemLuminaries are about as sincere as you can get.
